Responsibilities

As a CNSE Electrical engineer, Mr. Sowle provides engineering support for the construction and maintenance of all building power distribution systems on CNSE’s campuses and other buildings. Mr. Sowle assists in maintaining the utility matrix for normal and emergency power systems, and awareness of total load versus capacity on these systems. He additionally maintains a site wide breaker coordination study to ensure a fully coordinated system as loads are added, assists in the review and approval of all tool packages on the site, and facilitates maintaining site power quality and up time. Mr. Sowle also supports the engineering team to ensure all designs are in compliance with NEC, NYS building and NFPA fire codes, as well as any EHS/CNSE-specific health and safety requirements or procedures.
