Developing professionals and leaders in accounting, business, finance, and technology management.

The College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the hallmark of excellence in business education.
Welcome to the College of Business at SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
It is an exciting time to be part of the College of Business. As an AACSB-accredited business school within New York State’s premier public polytechnic, we have a distinctive opportunity: to connect business education with technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the needs of our communities. Our vision complements SUNY Poly’s commitment to academic excellence, student success, and strong partnerships with industry, government, and the community.
Our College offers undergraduate programs in Accounting, Business Administration, and Finance, along with graduate programs including the MBA in Technology Management, MS in Accounting, and Advanced Certificate in Forensic Accounting and Valuation. These programs provide a strong foundation, but our aspirations extend beyond the classroom.
Our vision places the College of Business at the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, enterprise, and economic and societal impact. We seek to help transform innovation into new ventures through commercialization; connect ventures and enterprises with capital markets for growth; prepare principled and effective leaders; and mobilize community engagement to support innovation and economic development.
This vision shapes how we educate our students. We are strengthening experiential learning, expanding connections with employers and alumni, and creating opportunities for students to solve real business problems. Our AI-enabled Trading Room will further connect finance, data, artificial intelligence, and experiential learning, giving students opportunities to work with the technologies and analytical tools transforming business and capital markets.
Our AACSB accreditation reflects our commitment to high standards, continuous improvement, relevant scholarship, and student success. Just as importantly, it challenges us to keep innovating—to ensure that our curriculum evolves with the rapidly changing business environment and the needs of our students and employers.
I believe a College of Business should be deeply connected to the community it serves. We therefore welcome partnerships with businesses, entrepreneurs, alumni, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and educational institutions. Together, we can create internships, applied projects, research collaborations, entrepreneurial opportunities, and pathways that benefit our students while contributing to the economic vitality of the Mohawk Valley and New York State.
Whether you are a prospective or current student, alumnus, employer, community partner, or friend of the College, I invite you to engage with us.
We are building a College of Business that connects ideas to enterprise, enterprise to capital, and leadership to impact.
Welcome to the College of Business.
