Michael Medley

Michael J. Medley received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, in 1990, 1991 and 1995, respectively.
From 1991-2024, he served as a research engineer for the United States Air Force at the Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, NY. In 2002, he joined the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute in Utica, NY where he currently serves as Chair and Associate Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research interests are in communications and signal processing related to adaptive interference suppression, spread spectrum waveform design, spectrum management, covert messaging, terahertz communications and airborne networking and communications links.
