Ropes Course Facilitators Needed

Please consider volunteering for an important part of Freshmen Orientation...the Ropes Course. We will have approximately 300 incoming freshmen to put through the Ropes Course. We need faculty/staff to assist with this highly rated program (past Orientation evaluations). You would be helping during a 3 hour block on either Friday, 8/23 , from 9 - noon , or from 1 - 4 pm .
Facilitators will receive training on one
element of the Ropes Course. Facilitators will stay with their
element and the students will rotate throughout the course
during the time period. It is a great way to see many of
our new freshmen in action.
Each faculty/staff facilitator will have a
student assistant. Training will take place on
Wed, Aug 14
, at
1:00 pm
in the Campus
Center Lobby. We will walk out on the Ropes Course so each
volunteer can select the element that they would like to
facilitate.
