Advance your expertise in wireless communications, RF systems, Internet of Things (IoT), software-defined radio (SDR), and emerging 5G and 6G technologies through SUNY Poly’s Next-Generation Wireless Systems Professional Development Series.

Designed for engineers and technical professionals, this three-course series combines technical instruction with hands-on experience to help participants design, implement, and evaluate modern wireless and connected technologies.

Participants will learn from faculty affiliated with SUNY Poly’s Wireless & Intelligent Next Gen Systems (WINGS) Research Center while developing practical skills applicable across telecommunications, defense, healthcare, manufacturing, and other technology-driven industries.

Program at a Glance

  • Dates: Saturdays, Oct. 3 – Nov. 14, 2026
  • Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Location: Innovare Advancement Center, Rome, NY
  • Format: In-person weekend instruction designed for working professionals

Equipment, including Pluto ADALM software-defined radios (SDRs), will be provided to each registrant, along with fully operational code for hands-on learning.

Professional Development Series

Designed for working professionals with a basic working knowledge of signals and systems (convolution, Fourier transforms, LTI systems). 

Equipment including Pluto ADALM SDRs and MATLAB academic license will be provided to each registrant, along with fully operational code.
