Brightspace D2L

D2L Brightspace has been selected by SUNY as the new Digital Learning Environment (DLE) for all SUNY schools. You’ll be able do everything you did in Blackboard, give quizzes, discussions, third party services such as Respondus and contact students. It is a very different environment than Blackboard so if need help, please contact the office of Distance Learning.

Fall 2023 and the summer pilot courses have been loaded into Brightspace, and many people are already working in the new system. We have nine courses scheduled to be taught as pilots for the summer semester and look forward to seeing Brightspace in action.

All courses will be taught in D2L come Fall 2023, there will be no access to Blackboard.
