SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica will hold a free manufacturing expo on Friday (Oct. 6) for community members, students and military personnel considering careers in manufacturing.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Wildcat Field House at 100 Seymour Road on the college's campus. The expo is open to the public.
Manufacturers from across New York will showcase their products and technologies, with more than 60 interactive exhibits. They also will discuss workforce needs and opportunities with students, the unemployed, underemployed and veterans.
