Open House is Saturday, October 26

Prospective students and parents attending SUNYIT’s fall open house on Saturday, October 26, will be able to tour the Quad-C construction site and attend briefings on the project as part of the day’s events. Hundreds of prospective students and their families are expected to attend the event, which starts at 8:30 a.m.
In support of the leadership and vision of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, and in partnership with the SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE), the $125 million Computer Chip Commercialization Center (Quad-C) at SUNYIT is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2014. With an annual operating budget of more than $500 million, the Quad-C will result in the creation of hundreds of high-tech jobs, groundbreaking academic programs, and cutting-edge workforce training opportunities in the kind of academic-business-government collaboration that CNSE has demonstrated so successfully in Albany.
Open house is held twice a year and is intended for prospective
students and their families who want to learn more about SUNYIT’s
undergraduate programs for four-year and transfer students, and its
full- and part-time graduate degree programs. The event will begin
in the Wildcat Field House with an opportunity for conversations
with faculty and alumni, and student club and student services
exhibits, followed by academic breakout sessions. The day will also
include technical and campus tours and a complimentary lunch. More
            information is available at
